摘要

Abstract

Based on the discrete phase model (DPM), a simulation was carried out to study fine particles dispersion and their concentration in different kinds of typical street canyon. In the simulation, a standard k-E two-equation model was used as turbulence model. The numerical results indicated that due to urban wind flow, the air in the street canyon presented vortex flow, dispersion and distribution of fine particles were changed. The concentration showed 'climbing wall effect'. The aspect ratio of street canyon had crucial effect on fine particle concentration distribution. Moreover, the concentration in street canyon with stepped-up notch configuration is lower than others.
