摘要

Abstract

On the basis of experiments and FEM simulation,the influence law of control pressure and oil chamber length on the dead crown and its distribution rule was discoursed.In rolling mills using VC roll as the backup roll,the mechanics principle of controlling trip shape with VC roll is that the bulging effect of VC roll can reduce the contact area between working roll and backup roll,thereby causes a moment opposite bending deformation of backup roll at both ends of the working roll.The key technique is in selecting an appropriate oil chamber length so that the equivalent crown zone should not appear.
