Advances in pharmacoepigenetics:DNA methylation and drug response
摘要
Abstract
It is found that epigenetic mechanisms can affect gene expression, which provides a new explanation to the phenomenon discovered in recent years that individual differences in drug response could not be explained by genetic polymorphism. Epigenetic mechanism can modify the DNA sequences epigenetially thus change the levels of gene expression. Pharmacoepigenetics which based on the theory and technology of epigenetics and pharmacology provides a new interpretation to this phenomenon. Epigenetic mechanisms are mainly DNA methylation and his-tone modification and so on. This review described the interaction of DNA methylation and drug response.关键词
