Abstract
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of the anterograde resection and retrograde resection for treatment of pterygium. Methods From August 2006 to August 2010, Totally of 305 patients 306 eyes with pterygium were randomly divided into 2 groups and underwent different operations. Pterygium was terograde resection for 108 eyes, and pterygium was retrograde resection combined with MMC for 191 eyes. Results one year after operation cured rate of the anterograde resection group and retrograde resection group were 86.11% (93 eyes) and 96.46% (191 eyes),respectively (P=0.001<0.05). Conclusion The retrograde resection combined with MMC is an effective approach for pterygium, and the cicatrices was effectively reduced in postoperative.关键词
