Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of tumescent anesthesia in midface and neck rhytidectomy. Methods A total of 103 patients whose face and neck were dermatolysis underwent midface and neck rhytidectomy after general anesthesia and tumescent anesthesia. Careful haemostasis, negative pressure drainage and pressure dressing were done. Results There was no hematoma formation in all patients. Around eyes, angel of mouth, cheek and neck appear ed some ecchymosises. After 5-12 days ,the ecchymosises disappeared. After 6-12 months follow-up , the effects of rhytidectomy were satisfied. Conclusion Tumescent anesthesia can reduce hemorrhage in midface and neck rhytidectomy.and speed up the operation. It is necessary to decrease the rate of postoperative hematoma formation.关键词
