Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of multiple low-energy Q switched laser treatment for tattoo patients. Methods 21 patients (skin typelV-V, mean age 21.4) with tattoos were enrolled.and the tattoo lesions were divided into two parts on one person.: Lesions in part A (the experimental group) were treated with Q-switched laser (wavelength 1064nm .spotsize 4~6mm, fluence 2.0~4.0J/cm2, pulse repetition rate 10 Hz). The lesions became white-frosting after irradiation The treatment was performed once a day for 3 days.Lesions in part B (the control group) were treated with Q-switched laser (wavelength 1064nm, spotsize 3~4mm, fluence 5.0~8.0J/cm2 , pulse repetition rate 10 Hz) for one session. The evaluation was performed 6 months after treatment. Results In group A, all cases achieved different degree of improvement :42.8% of the tattoos were cured, 57.2% of the tattoos were excellent, without scar formation. In group B: all case achieved different degree of improvement :14.0% of the tattoos were cured, 24.0% of the tattoos were excellent and 62.0% of them were improved. Slightly hypertrophic scar formation occurred to 2 cases in group B. Conclusion Application of the multiple low-energy Q-switched laser is effective and safe in the treatment of tattoos , and the side effects was rare, thereby it give a new choice for the patients with tattoos .关键词
