Abstract
The tenure system in American universities as a means of academic freedom endows university teachers with the freedom of teaching,research and outreach activities as well as with the economic security：thus forming a certain attractiveness of the career.This article illustrates how the U.S.tenure system,with its theory and practical experience,can guide the establishment of the university teachers＇ career management system in China.关键词
