高校外语专业学生跨文化交流能力培养现状与对策研究——基于江苏省高校外籍语言教师的实证分析
The Present Situation and Countermeasures for Improving the Capacity of Cross-cultural Communication of Foreign Language Majors——An Empirical Study from the Perspective of Foreign Teachers at Higher Educational Institutions of Jiangsu Province

Abstract
Foreign language teaching and learning in China has been neglecting the role of cross-cultural communication（CCC） in facilitating language acquisition.This study explores the current situation of CCC capacity building in foreign language teaching and learning by investigating the awareness of and attitude toward the CCC of university students majoring in foreign languages,the pattern of teaching CCC by foreign language teachers from both China and abroad,and the understanding of the Chinese culture on the part of language teachers from abroad.The paper concludes that to improve the CCC capacity of university students majoring in foreign languages,universities are expected to offer more courses on CCC,provide various activities for students,improve the CCC capability of foreign language teachers,for example,provide language teachers from abroad with relevant in-service training courses,and reform the classroom teaching mode and method.关键词
