摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the clinical characteristic, therapeutic response and prognosis of the multiple myeloma ( MM ) with skull mass as the manifestations of extramedullary plasmocytoma ( EM ). Methods The clinical features, imaging characteristics, pathological manifestations and treatment procedures of six patients with MM having EM were retrospectively analyzed. Results Three patients had skull mass as the first symptom, and the other three patients had skull mass in the progression of disease. All these six patients appeared clinical nervous system symptoms and had poor response to conventional chemotherapy. Conclusion Clinical manifestations of MM were complicated and few patients manifested as skull mass. New target drug exhibited a satisfactory prospect.关键词
