Abstract
Certain key competencies are required for general practitioners when they provide direct health care service to residents in the rural community. The training of these key competencies should be well designed in the teaching plans in junior medical colleges. Theoretical and practical teaching approaches should be integrated during the training of key competencies. With these key competencies, the future general practitioners are able to manage health problems of individuals, families and communities from an overall perspective.关键词
