Abstract
A comparison was made among rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF), traditional architectural inorganic thermal-protective materials, and polystyrene foam. The fire protection and safety regulation and interim provisions on account of fire accident caused by the outer-wall polymer foam insulation, issued by the Ministry of Public Security, were briefly introduced. The market demand for flame retarded RPUF was analyzed; and research progress in thermal decomposition, combustion behavior, flame retardancy, and smoke prohibition of RPUF was reviewed.关键词
