摘要

Abstract

To explore the physiologic function of the kisspeptins in bovine spermatogenesis as well as provide reference to research reproductive physiology of livestock,kisspeptins-1(Kiss-1) expression characteristics in the testis of adult cattle were studied by using SABC immunohistochemical staining and image analysis software(Image Pro-Plus6.0).In result,the KiSS-1 immunopositive production were found in the spermatogonia,primary spermatocytes,secondary spermatocytes,early spermatids and interstitial cells of the adult bovine testes,with the order of the total optical density of the positive cells(IOD) value as IODprimary spermatocytes IODinterstitial cells IODsecondary spermatocytes〉IODspermatogonia 〉IODearly spermatids(P〈0.05).However,the production were not found in the late spermatids,sperm,sertoli cells and interstitial blood vessels of the adult cattle testes.The large KiSS-1 immunoreactivity production was seen around the periphery of some interstitial cells,while this phenomenon was not found in other positive cells periphery.The results suggested that KiSS-1 gene plays a very important role in the spermatogenesis of cattle testes,and may especially play very important regulative role in the spermatogonia mitosis and spermatocytes meiosis,and the testicular interstitial cells have the function of KiSS-1 secretion in the testes microenvironment.
