Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of intervention measures for perioperative prophylactic application of antibiotics in decorative surgery department of our hospital. METHODS: Medical records of 370 surgery patients in our hospital were collected and studied comparatively before (Jun. - Dec. 2008)and after carrying out intervention measures (Jun. 2010 -Jun. 2011). The perioperative prophylactic application of antibiotics was analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS: The rationality of perioperative prophylactic application of antibiotics in type I and E incision was markedly improved. Reasonable rate of medication timing before operation was 67.6%; the mean medication time were shorted from 5.13 d to 3.48 d; some major problems were improved significantly after intervention. CONCLUSION: The intervention measures advocated by our hospital promote the level of rational drug use and represent the feasibility and effectiveness of intervention measures.To high proportion of antibiotics use and long period of treatment, we need to strengthen the supervision of clinical pharmacy personnel and monitoring.关键词
