Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To explore clinical pharmacists participating in pharmaceutical care for a patient with tumor lysis syndrome. METHODS: According to analysis of drug use in a typical case, pharmaceutical care for a patient with tumor lysis syndrome by clinical pharmacist in oncology department was analyzed. RESULTS: For high-risk patients with chemotherapy-induced tumor lysis syndrome, it was necessary for timely drug withdrawl and adjustment of chemotherapy drugs. Clinical pharmacist should closely monitor and intervene timely in terms of hyperkalemia, hyperuricemia, kidney function and hyperphosphatemia. CONCLUSION: Clinical pharmacist and medical staff should enhance their knowledge of pharmacy, realize the high risk factors of tumor lysis syndrome and offer individualized pharmaceutical care for patients.关键词
