Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To discuss the influences of centralized bidding and purchasing system of essential medicine on wholesale enterprises. METHODS: This paper adopted the qualitative analytical method to analyze the effects of centralized bidding and purchasing system of essential medicine on wholesale enterprises. RESULTS: On the one hand, this system made the wholesale enterprises promoted the development of modern logistics and accelerated mergers and acquisitions. On the other hand, as a limited number of distribution companies were available, there was no guarantee to deliver the essential drugs timely. Other whiles, the burden on enterprises was much heavier because of the low distribution costs and strict delivery requirements. CONCLUSIONS: In order to promote the healthy development of the wholesale business and ensure the availability of essential medicines, we put forward some recommendations: firstly, we should actively encourage third-party logistics, providing professional logistics services; secondly, we should appropriately increase the distribution costs, mobilizing the enthusiasm of the distribution enterprises; thirdly, we should strengthen the government supervision, standardizing the bidding behavior.关键词
