Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate clinical efficacy of dutoxetine and paroxetine in the treatment of depression. METHODS: Retrieved from Wanfang database, Rev Man 4.2 software was adopted for meta-analysis of included study. Cure rate and effective rate were evaluated 6 weeks later. HAMD score was evaluated at the end of second week. RESULTS: A total of 5 studies were included, involving 443 patients. Results of Meta-analysis showed that cure rates of dutoxetine and paroxetine were 46.60% and 38.62% at the end of sixth week, there was no statistical significance between 2 groups [OR=1.41, 95%CI (0.93, 2.41), P= 0.11]. Clinical effective rate of 2 groups were 76.44% and 71.43% , there was no statistical significance between 2 groups [OR= 1.30,95%CI(0.82, 2.06) ,P=0.26]. HAMD scores were analyzed at the end of second week, there was statistical significance in difference between 2 groups [WMD=-1.17,95%CI(-1.99, -0.34), I>=0.006]. CONCLUSION: 2 drugs are same in long-term efficacy, but onset time of dutoxetine is earlier than that of paroxetine.关键词
