Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish new method for the content determination of Metamizole sodium tablets. METHODS: The differential spectrophotometry was adopted. 0.1 mol·L-1 hydrochloric acid and 0.1 mol·L -1 sodium hydroxide were used respectively as medium to prepare reference solution and sample solution. The content of metamizole sodium was determined by measuring differential absorption value of 2 kinds of solution at wavelength of 283 nm. Results of the study were compared with those of other methods (UV spectrophotometry, HPLC and iodometric method). RESULTS: The calibration curves showed good linearity in the range of 10.35~51.75 μg·L-1 (r=0.999 8) with an average recovery of 99.94% (RSD=0.27% , n=5). Results of content determination of 4 methods were similar. CONCLUSION: Established method is accurate, simple, specific and suitable for the content determination of Metamizole sodium tablets.关键词
