Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To provide reference for the exploration of new operation strategy in public hospitals. METHODS: Taking a series of new drug policies in New Medical Reform as the background, new literature analysis was used to summarize new drug policies in latest three year in China and health statistics of public hospitals in Chongqing during 2006 - 2010. The status quo of "to increase the revenue of hospital by excessive sales of drugs" in public hospital was analyzed. RESULTS: Over the past 5 years, 6 class three grade A hospitals in Chongqing were short of financial support from the government. They had difficulty in benefiting from medical service. The incomes from medicines maintained at 40% to 50%. These problems resulted in "to increase the revenue of hospital by excessive sales of drugs". CONCLUSION: Public hospitals need to explore new operation strategies, and they have to reform the compensation mechanism and strengthen their internal management systems so as to keep healthy developing in New Medical Reform.关键词
