Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of oral iron and intravenous iron for treating renal anemic in maintenance he mo dialysis. Methods Forty - two patients with maintenance hemodialysis were randomly divided into two groups. The control group I ( ft = 21) was treated with recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) plus oral iron supplement Niferex and the treatment group II ( ft = 21) was treated with rHuEPO plus intravenous iron supplement iron sucrose. Both groups were treated with routine hemodialysis, twice a week for 12 weeks. Results Compared with pretreatment, the levels of Hb, hematocrit(Hct), ferritin and transferrin saturation(TSAT) after treat-ment in both groups were increased, but compared with the control group, the various indexes in the treatment group showed statistical significance. Conclusion Iron supplement can effectively improve the anemic status in the patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Intravenous iron sucrose supplement is a better treatment than oral iron supplement.关键词
