Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of Sanhuang tablets on the serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malonaldehyde (MDA) in diabetes patients, and explore its mechanism of antiatherosclerosis. Methods Sixty patients of type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into diabetes group and Sanhuang tablets group. The diabetes group was given symptomatic treatment, based on blood glucose and blood pressure was controlled. Sanhuang tablets group was given Sanhuang tablets, four tablets orally, three times a day, based on the treatment of diabetes group. The dosage of Sanhuang tablets was adjusted according to bowel movement to maintain 1-3 times a day. Four weeks later, the serum SOD and MDA were tested and compared. Results Sanhuang tablets group obviously inhibited the decrease of SOD (P<0.05), and the increase of MDA (P<0.05). Sanhuang tablets had no influence on blood glucose and blood lipid. Conclusion Sanhuang tablets can decrease the serum MDA and increase SOD. It has the role of antiatherosclerosis on the level of anti-oxidation stress.关键词
