红外视频眼震检查在良性阵发性位置性眩晕诊断的应用
VNG in diagnosis of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

Abstract
Objective To determine the value of VNG(videonystagmograph)in diagnosis of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Methods Patients (n=50) who were diagnosed with BPPV completed DIX_Hallpike and ROLL tests wearing video goggles. The affected semicircular canal was determined and appropriate manual reduction maneuvers were implemented. Follow-up treatments were given after 1 week. Results Involvement of the posterior senicircular canals (PSC), horizontal senicircular canals (HSC) and anterior senicircular canals (ASC) was seen in 39 (78%), 6 (12%) and 1(2%) patients, respectively, whereas combined-BPPVs was seen in 4(8%) patients. Clinical cure was achieved in 43 cases and improvement in 6 cases. Treatment was no effective in 1 case. The total effective rate was 98%. Conclusion Positional nystagmus can be recorded objectively by VNG. The value of VNG should be paid attention to since it provides easier and more accurate diagnosis in BPPV关键词
