摘要
Abstract
This paper introduces the essence of metonymy and the status quo of metonymical studies,analyzes the degree of genericity,the ontological nature of the domains involved,the two properties distinguishing metonymies,which are used to define the grammatical metonymy.It also discusses the influence of grammatical metonymy on linguistic structure from the aspects of predications,re-categorization of nouns and verbs,valence extension and reduction and transformation of boundedness.关键词
