Performance and Parameter Calculation of Step Skewed Rotor Type Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

Abstract
Step skewed rotor type was an efficient manner for reducing harmonics and minimizing cogging torque and torque ripple. Based on finite-element analytical technique, the influence of different segments of step skewed rotor type on harmonics of the EMF and cogging torque was analyzed, the relationship between reduced harmonics and segments of step skewed rotor was revealed. The method for calculating d-axis and q-axis inductances of step skewed rotor type machine was provided and verified by finite element method, and the reluctance torque was reduced due to step skewed rotor type machine.关键词
