摘要

Abstract

The carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/AZ91 magnesium matrix composites were fabricated by preform-casting under the protection of Ar. The microstructure was observed and analyzed. The room temperature mechanical properties of the composites were tested. The tensile fracture was observed and analyzed via scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrum analysis (EDS). The results show that CNTs can be effectively added into magnesium alloy matrix with good dispersion; with the adding of CNTs, the grains of the composites have been refined and their comprehensive mechanical properties have been enhanced significantly.
