摘要

Abstract

The paper studied the effect of gating system's structure on the qualification rate of the heavy ingots that weigh from 10 to 27 t by ultrasonic testing. The entrapped slag was decreased, and the steel quality was improved by improvement of the gating system. The reject ratio is reduced by 83% from 14.6% to 2.5%.
