摘要

Abstract

The volume variation mode of ductile iron during solidification was analyzed, and the result that feeding is needed for ductile iron was obtained. The casting and practical production conditions should be taken into account for ductile iron feeding. The selecting method of general riser, pressure control riser, and full pressure riser were presented, based on different mould and casting module. Some key problems were discussed, such as casting module, solidifying sequence, riser position, feeding channel, temperature gradient, feeding of isolated hot spot, metallurgy quality, inoculation, and so on.
