Abstract
The furan resin sand was reclaimed with a combined process of impact+centrifugal reclamation+winnowing and the process of only centrifugal reclamation, respectively. The properties of reclaimed furan resin sand were investigated by sand vibrating, baking at 950 °C, measurement of gas evolution, as well as the tensile and compression strength test. Experimental results show that the LOI of the furan resin sand reclaimed with the combined process declines to 2.83%, and its content of dust declines to 0.45%. The 24 h tensile strength of the moulding sand increases up to 0.86 Mpa, the stripping time is controlled within 15 min, and the gas evolution declines to below 15 mL/g, which are obviously superior to the sand reclaimed with single centrifugal process.关键词
