Abstract
Metalanguage in EFL classroom can be defined in terms of the universality as descriptive and interpretive language, artificial language in natural form, language highlighting discourse characteristics and language includinglinguistic knowledge and competence. This exploration can help the development of metalingual theory as well as the theory and practice of foreign language teaching.关键词
