摘要

Abstract

[ Objective ] To determine the content of forsythin and total flavonoids in different parts of Forsythia suspense, study their antioxi-dant ability, and analyze the relations of their content with antioxidant ability. [ Method] Ultrasonic-assisted technology was applied to extract forsythin and total flavonoids from Forsythia suspense. The content of forsythin and total flavonoids in Forsythia suspense was respectively determined by means of HPLC and colorimetry. The antioxidant ability of the extracts from different parts of Forsythia suspensa towards free radical was evaluated by 1, 1-diphenyl-2-icrylhydrazyl (DPPH). [ Result] The rank of different parts of Forsythia suspense in descending order was new leaf > old leaf > flower > fruit according to the content of forsythin, while that was flower > new leaf > old leaf > fruit according to the content of total flavonoids. Different parts of Forsythia suspensa had higher antioxidant ability, among which the antioxidant ability of flower was the highest, followed by fruit, new leaf, and old leaf. [Conclusion] Extracts of Forsythia suspensa flower, fruit and leaf all had higher antioxidant activity. Of these, total flavonoids were the primary active ingredients in flower and leaf's extract of Forsythia suspense, and fruit's extract was total flavonoids and forsythiaside.
