摘要

Abstract

[ Objective ] The research aimed to study the effects of NO3--N supply on growth and N uptake of rice cultivar " Wuyujing 3 " under different water regimes. [Method] Rice seedlings were solution-cultured and different water regimes were generated by using PEG6000. [Result ] Under normal water condition, the maximum biomass of rice seedlings were obtained when 60 mg/L NO3- -N was supplied, but plant height of rice seedling wasn' t affected by NO3- -N supply. However, under water stress all tested growth indexes of rice seedlings, including biomass, plant height, root length, root diameter, root volume, root surface area, and number of root tips, decreased with the increase of NO3--N supply. [Conclusion] Water stress can affect the response of rice seedling growth to NO3- -N supply and reduce N uptake rate in rice plant.
