A Primary Study on the Physical Properties of Purple Soil under Different Land-use in Xingning Basin

摘要

Abstract

Soil physical properties of purple soil under four typical types of land-use were studied in Xingning Basin. The results show that soil natural moisture capacities are low. Contents of clay are little and contents of the sand are rich. Soil bulk density and specific gravity are high-er, but soil porosity is lower. Abandoned field and bamboo land approached soil natural profile, and orchard was reasonably improved by man so that soil quality was enhanced. Aiming at the situation, some suggestions were put forward so as to maintain sustainable development of the purple soils in Xingning Basin.
