摘要

Abstract

Taking the UHV half-wavelength AC transmission (UHV HWACT) line, which has the length about 3 000 km and sends electric power to East China power grid, for example, the electro-mechanical transient stability of UHV HWACT is researched. Under various types of faults, UHV HWACT line possesses better angle stability. The results from the analysis on the location where severe fault occurs and the analysis on available transmission capacity (ATC) of UHV HWACT show that the ATC of UHV HWACT line can meet the demand of sending out electric power and the transmission scheme of sending electric power from grid to grid is favorable to improve the transmission reliability.
