摘要

Abstract

This paper do a simulation at 40Gb/s single channel transmission system in RZ-modulation and NRZ-modulation by using Optisystem simulation software. In addition, a simulation of dispersion compensation in 40Gb/s single channel has been done based on RZ-modulation, compared the transmission performance of pre-compensation, post-compensation and symmetric-compensation. The simulation results show that RZ-modulation is superior to NRZ-modulation in the long-distance transmission, and symmetric-compensation format has a better compensation performance than the others.
