摘要

Abstract

It is specified in the regulations that the secondary circuit in PT can have one point grounded. Besides that earthing by zinc oxide varistor in switch yard is often applied in practice.In this paper, based on the analysis on the protection mis-operation induced by the broken down of zinc oxide vaistor in the secondary circuit of CVT, it is found in terms of wave ananlysis that when the zinc oxide varistor is broken down, two points will be grounded, and the protections will receive wrong voltage value, which will lead to protection mis-operation or protection refusal-operation. Finally, the suggestions for eliminating the corresponding potential dangers are provided.
