摘要

Abstract

CdS submicrospheres were prepared by convenient hydrothermal process using different inorganic, cadmium source. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyse indicates that the products are hexagonal CdS. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) ob servation reveals that the products consist of a large number of submicrospheres which are self-assembled from nanoparticles with sizes of about 20~40 run. The addition of ethanol can improve the morphology and the size distribution. The feasibility of the reaction is discussed thermodynamically and the formation mechanism of the submicrospheres is proposed.
