Abstract
The upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) is used to treat penicillin wastewater. The start-up, the characteristics of granular sludge and the treatment effect of the up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor under mid-temperature (33~35℃) are studied. The results indicate that it spends 80 days to start up UASB by gradually increasing the influent penicillin wastewater concentration after sludge seeding. When the influent COD is 4 000 mg/L, the removal rate of COD is more than 84% the volumetric COD loading rate reaches 3. 36 kg/(m3·d). And the gas production reaches 5. 9 L/d. The granular sludge obtained in the reactor has particle size of about 2 mm.关键词
