摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of helicobacter pylori ( Hp ) infection on prognosis of patients with gastric cancer. Method: Tissue samples of fifty pathologically confirmed gastric cancer were collected , after their deoxyribonucleic acids ( DNA ) were extracted, the situation of Hp infection were determined by using polymerase chain reaction ( PCR ). Simultaneously, Hp immunoglobulin G ( IgG ) was detected by means of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ). Afterwards, analysis was performed according to the clinical data such as tissue source, size of the tumor tissue, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, survival time of the patients and the infection situation of Hp in gastric cancer tissue. Result: The infection rate of Hp in the gastric cancer tissue was 62. 0% ( 31/50 ) in all 50 cases. After analysis in detail, the infection rate in gastric cancer tissue showed no statistical difference among different tissue source ( P>0. 05 ). Whereas, pTNM stage, survival time of the patients and lymph node metastasis were significantly different between Hp infection group and non-Hp infection group ( P<0. 05 ). Conclusion: Hp infection situation may affect the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer.关键词
