基于高维正态积分的串联结构系统可靠性研究
Reliability assessment of a series structural system based on a multivariate normal integral

Abstract
Relating to the reliability problem of a series structural system and based on the first order reliability method, failure probability of the series structural system can be expressed using a complementary standard multiva-riate normal integral. An effective approach was developed to approximate a multivariate normal integral. By means of an integral transformation method, the original integral of multivariate normal distributions can be transformed in-to an integral over a unit hyper-cube, and the quasi Monte Carlo method was used to solve the new form of integral. Thus a new approach to estimate the failure probability of the series structural system was developed. The accuracy of the method was investigated by comparison with four approximation methods and exact integration. Finally, the structural system reliability of a submersible was calculated using the method presented in this paper. The conclu-sion indicates that the presented approach is efficient and accurate.关键词
