Expressway Toll Station Operation Strategy Based on Traffic Flow Prediction
摘要
Abstract
Based on the real world data collected from the Nanjing mainline toll station on the Nanjing-Shanghai Expressway, the traffic volume is predicted by using the modern time series model. Based on the predicted traffic volume, the operational strategy of the toll station is determined. Empirical results show that the proposed approach is instructive in determining the number of toll gates opened for each time interval.关键词
