摘要
Abstract
This paper firstly measured the urban - rural income gap in Henan province with Theil index. Following that, by means of co - integration test, Granger causality test, IRF (impulse response function) and variance decomposition methods which are based on vector autoregressive (VAR) model, this article empirically analyzed the relationship between the economic growth and urban - rural income gap in Henan province from 1978 to 2009. It was eventually found that there existed long - term equilibrium relationship between the economic growth and urban - rural income gap; the economic growth had a great effect on the enlargement of urban -rural income gap; meanwhile, the enlargement of urban - rural income gap also constrained its economic growth to some extent.关键词
