摘要

Abstract

STL (stereo lithography) file is a standard file type of rapid prototyping system, which is widely used in CNC machining, reverse engineering and finite element analysis. The read method of the STL file and the layered algorithm of the model are introduced in this paper. The reading of STL files, the layered algorithm and the functions such as three-dimensional display,perspective transformation, zoom, shift, layered display of the STL model are implemented in VC programming environment combined with OpenGL technology. These functions are laid a foundation to further the realization of the CNC system by u-sing STL file machining.
