Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience of using the lateral distal tibial locking plate as internal fixation to treatment of the Pilon fracture. Methods 18 patients suffering from the type-C Pilon fracture were treated with open reduction and the lateral distal tibial locking plate fixation,and combined external fixation for some cases. The results were evaluated by the Mazur scoring system about ankle joint's symptom and function. Results The follow-up was 5 ~ 17( 7 ±2 ) months. The results were excellent in 1 case , good in 11 and fair in 2 among those 14 patients. Conclusions The lateral distal tibial locking plate for treatment of complex Pilon fractures is better .关键词
