In vivo analysis of total hip arthroplasty in different input position with finite element method
摘要
Abstract
Objective To establish a three-dimension finite element model with CT scanned pictures of hip arthroplas-ty for analyzing the stress distribution on the femur and on the prosthesis, providing a new method to evaluate the femoral prosthesis in vivo. Methods One volunteer with uncemented prosthesis was scanned with 64 slice CT to obtain configurations. With the software, a three-dimension model of femur with prosthesis was established. Simulating one leg standing state, the stress distribution was analyzed on the femur and on the prosthesis as experimental group. Compared to the experimental group, modifying input position with - 10° , - 5° , + 5° , + 10° , and stimulating the stress distribution with same load, then compared with the stress distribution with the experimental group. Results The finite element model has been established, using the pictures that the prosthesis in the body with CT scan. The experimental group which demonstrated the true position of the prosthesis in the vivo was not the best input position. Conclusions The stress distribution on the model established base on the people with prosthesis can reflect the truly stress after hip replacement. The finite element model established based on the femur prosthesis in vivo can be used to evaluate the position of the prosthesis and can provide help for the clinical.关键词
