摘要

Abstract

Based on gas lubrication theory, analysis model of a bi-direction fir tree groove gas seal is established in this paper. In order to discuss hydrodynamic characteristics of fir tree groove under different operation conditions, numerical analysis was carried out by comparing with a spiral face seal. Numerical results show that bi - direction fir tree groove gas seal presents good dynamic effect,which is affected prominently by operating parameters, e. G. Seal number,sealing pressure and clearance. With increasing seal number increased or decreasing sealing pressure,the hydrodynamics opening ability increases obviously.
