摘要

Abstract

A mutual speed-up protection is used in relay protection devices in order to implement instant protection for an 110 kV Double-Circuit line with parallel-operation. With the analysis of an actual fault, protection misoperations caused by unsuitable sitting-value of Zone 3 impedance relay of an 110 kV double-circuit line with power source at each end . It is suggested that Zone 3 impedance relay's protection area do not include LV Side of tail-end Transformer to avoid mal-trip when mutual speed-up protection used in double-circuit transmission lines on the same pole with two side power.
