Abstract
Objective To understand job-hunting intentions of nursing graduates and to explore its influencing factors and to provide a theoretical basis for nursing emotion education and career education. Methods A total of 487 nursing graduates from 4 universities in Shanxi Province were chosen with stratified-cluster randomized sampling and they were surveyed by a self-designed job-hunting intention questionnaire. Results The total score of job-hunting intention was (11.13 ±2.47) and there were significant differences of job-hunting intention among graduates with different education background (P<0.01). Educational background, only child or not, family origin, family income, parental occupation and educational level of parents were factors that influenced graduates ' job-hunting intentions (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion In general, job-hunting intentions for nursing of nursing graduates remain strong, but nursing undergraduates relatively week. Nursing graduates' job-hunting intentions are influenced by many factors.关键词
