摘要
Abstract
Objective To improve clinical nurses' geriatric nursing knowledge and skills through training and to improve the quality of geriatric nursing. Methods A one-year geriatric nursing knowledge and skill training was carried out among nurses throughout the hospital with various forms and methods. Results After training, geriatric nursing knowledge and skills of nurses throughout the hospital indicated apparent progress than before. Elderly patients were more satisfied with the nursing (P<0.01). Conclusion Geriatric nursing knowledge and skills training can improve clinical nurses' geriatric nursing knowledge and skills. The popularization of geriatric nursing training could meet the needs of the aging of the population in China.关键词
