摘要

Abstract

In recent years, with the development of numerical modeling technologies for river flows, there are many commercial softwares, including HEC-RAS and MIKE11. These two most popular softwares are used widely in calculating water flows in different hydrologic conditions and work well generally. However, in these two softwares there are many different assumptions. This paper is to study the significant differences of the model methods about the Manning roughness factor ( n). Flow computation and modeling comparison are applied to the Nanchang Reach of the Ganjiang River in order to obtain the relatively accurate results and the differences by using the HEC-RAS and MIKE11.
