摘要

Abstract

In the process, use and storage of polymer materials, various changes will occur. Long-term exposure to light, heat and other external factors often results in the structure changes, leading to aging and reduction of material performance, which will limit the application of polymer materials in some field, even lead to the loss of value. Yellowing is the result of changes in polymer structure, which not only affects the appearance of polymer materials, but also is the signal of performance deterioration. In this paper, research progress on yellowing of synthetic polymer materials is summarized, with the yellowing mechanism and the possible measures to reduce yellowing of polymer.
