Some Notes on Symmetric Elements in Group Rings
摘要
Abstract
Let G be a group, R be a commutative ring with identity, and RG be its group ring. Let <φ: RG →RG denote the R-linear extension of an involution φ defined on G. An element x in RG is said to be symmetric if φ(x) = x. In this note, the structure of G is described when symmetric elements (RG)φ form a ring.关键词
